The Society of Infectious Disease (Singapore) is honoured to organise the 12th Western Pacific Congress on ,
Chemotherapy and Infectious Diseases which will be held at the Shangri-La Hotel Singapore from 2nd to
5th December 2010.

Despite impressive economic and social changes in the Western Pacific, countries in the region still face many
long-standing and some emerging infectious diseases. Our theme "New Pathogens, New Challenges" will help
us understand the journey ahead in managing infectious diseases and chemotherapy. By coming together to
share our collective experience, we hope to keep each other informed about the latest in infectious diseases in
the Western Pacific, form new collaborations and strengthen existing links.

We have arranged a scientic programme which would be of interest to Clinicians, Researchers, Trainees,
Pharmacists, Infection Control Nurses and other allied health professionals.
